Grey outside? We've got a brilliant way to enjoy yourself, whatever the weather
Brrr. Will this winter never end? Wouldn't it be nice at this very moment in time to be having a dip in a pool, with the aroma of grilling burgers tantalising your taste buds for a post-dip barbeque? Or perhaps you like the cold, but prefer an out and out, snow-laden winter wonderland to the wet, grey, never ending misery of an English winter.
If you think you'd have to fly to sunny LA or Lapland to have either - you'd be wrong. Sims 2 Seasons (available in shops now) lets you experience spring, Summer, autumn and Winter by allowing you to create and control virtual characters throughout their lives.

So not only will you be able to choose who your character is going to share a refreshing poolside drink with, you'll be able to wrap them up for a snowball fight with their mates. Of course, you could have them braving the snow in a bikini, but you might suffer the consequences later.
And like our motto for life, it's never too cold for romance - your character can be loved up or broken up whatever the season. But whether they'll be kicking autumn leaves around or sharing the joys of spring with some fit bloke is up to you. Their destiny - throughout the seasons and throughout life - is in your hands. Nice to have power, eh? Just be careful what you're going to do with it…

The votes have been counted and verified, and following our survey on the most romantic season, the top season was found to be winter!
Must be all that snuggling up by blazing log fires…
The winner of the iPod is Joanne Ellor, who chose Autumn as the most romantic season, saying: 'I love romantic walks in the park in Autumn, crisps leaves under your feet, a slight chill in the air and beautiful reds and browns everywhere. And as for bonfire night... snuggling around a bonfire? The most romantic night of the year!'
The runners up were: Pete Hewitt, Chris Peil, Anna Shaw and Maggie Lloyd. Congratulations!
