A right Royal knees-up. But are you?
You might have heard there’s a wedding coming up. And a Royal one at that. The nation is going Wills and Kate crazy and you can’t move in the supermarket for Royal-themed biscuits, tea, bunting and paper plates. And it’s only going to get a lot worse in the next few weeks.
However according to a report in the papers today, while people in the south are going Royal wedding-crazy and planning street parties to celebrate, those folk 'oop north' apparently couldn’t care less. In fact, they're just happy they're getting a day off.
