Today we're obsessed with...
The ongoing Take Me Out saga!
Ever since hapless model Damion Merry first appeared on Take Me Out a couple of weeks ago, we've been totes obsessed with the dating show in which 30 girls get to choose whether or not they'd be up for a date with the male contestant - if they don't like what they see, they turn their light off.
Damion's episode was particularly brilliant, because most girls had decided against dating him after his friend revealed he'd dated Jodie Marsh and had loved the paparazzi attention. Smarting after being rejected by so many of the contestants, Damion then managed to insult all 30 girls after telling them he'd prefer to date a brunette as he had no luck with blondes - and that one brunette (who had already turned off her light) was prettier than the others - ouch!
The following week, the saga continued when it was claimed that Damion actually had a girlfriend, who he went on to marry in Las Vegas - something he denies.
And in a further bizarre twist, Jodie Marsh yesterday appeared on This Morning to deny ever being in a relationship with him. She said, 'I tell you what, this guy - I went on one date with him, one date... I kissed him on the lips - and that's it.' She then went on to say, 'I knew from that one date that he wasn't my ideal man and now I'm getting stick from this show, and from people saying, "Oh my God, I can't believe you went out with that guy, he's so hideous", and I didn't go out with him.'
So what is Damion saying about all this? Shockingly, he's revealed he's getting death threats, as well as matches posted through his letterbox and petrol cans left on his doorstep. He took to Twitter yesterday to say, 'Enough is enough.' He may be a plonker with the flirting skills of a bull in a china shop, but we have to say we agree with him...
